i could really go for a pepsi right now...

Hmm. I've got a craving for ice cold Pepsi from the can right now. But I haven't actually bought any Pepsi from the can in over a month (go me!), so I've got a dilema. It's not as good in the bottle as it is in the can, either. *Sigh*

I got something in the mail from the clinic from when I visited in March of this year; a bill for over two hundred dollars. Sent to my old address, returned to the postmaster, with a note on the envelope that says "Does not live here anymore," and then sent back to me at my correct address. At the time it was originally sent to me, I had 15 days to send them a payment or make arrangements with their office. Well, that was at the end of May, and I now have 4 days to figure something out. It was supposed to be billed to my parents' insurance, because I am still on it, but apparently it didn't make it to the insurance company. Bastards. My parents are gone for two weeks on a west coast vacation, and I don't have their insurance information. Freakin' great. Guess I'll have to call them on Monday and see what's up.

On a good note, a man came in the store late tonight, wanting to know if we had a photo processing place, and I told him he could get film developed in three to five days, or we had a Kodak Picture Maker machine, if he had a digital camera. He did, and I gave him instructions, from behind the front desk on how to use the machine, and to only choose the option "One 4x6" instead of "Three 4x6s" because printing off three four by sixes on an 8x10" sheet would cost him $4.99, whereas printing off one 4x6" picture on a 4x6" sheet would only cost $.39, or about $1.20 for three.

I wasn't sure if this made sense to him, because a few minutes later he was back. Sometimes when something makes sense to me because I know the equipment well, doesn't always mean it's going to make sense to the person I'm explaining it to. I thought maybe the adaptor didn't work properly or something for his camera chip, but it turns out he just needed the password to make it print. Since I couldn't leave the front desk area, I called Levi over to help him, and when the man came back from getting the picture printed off, he thanked me and said that my instructions were very good and he understood them quite well. He also wondered if there was anything he could fill out to give me a good recommendation! Man, I so rock at that Picture Maker thingie. I let him talk to the manager on duty tonight, and now my name will be put in for the drawing of Employee of the Month! w00t!

wOOT indeed. I used to love when customers were happy with me. It made the hell of retail a little better. Just a little though.

Pepsi, huh? Glass bottle or plastic? I think you should have a Pepsi. One Pepsi every now and again will not hurt you. My one Mountain Dew a day habit is what is killin me. You know after passing a couple of kidney stones you think I would learn.....

Sorry, too much info there.
